Decal Removal Instructions
Decal Removal
| To remove an existing decal it is easiest removed with heat | |
| This can be done with a hair dryer or heat gun. Be careful not to overheat the surface....you just want to get the decal warm. | |
| If the decal is on glass no heat is needed. Just use a razor blade to scrape of the decal. Hold the blade as parallel to the glass as possible. | |
| After the decal is removed there will probably be some glue residue left. This is best removed with a mild adhesive remover such as Goo Gone or Goof Off. I recommend using the 3M spray adhesive remover found at automotive stores such as Car Quest. Be sure to test the chemical on a small part of the area to make sure it will not stain or discolor the surface. |
