Sizing 

If the size you are wanting is not listed please use the contact form to inquire.

All decals are made proportional so they appear correct when you select your custom size.  You may always specify in the comments box if you would like the design to be skewed to fit a certain dimension but skewing too much can make the decal appear "squashed".  So please beware of this before you make a note for us to skew. 

In between sizes (such as 7.5, 8.25, etc.) can be had at no additional cost.  Just round up to the next largest size and note in the comments box the precise size you need.

Note that the width is from the furthest left part of the design to the furthest right part of the design.  This is a horizontal measurement (shown) and is not from actual point-to-point.

If you are not concerned with the height of your decal then you do not need to read past this.  This may confuse you.

But you may NEED to know the height of the decal before you order if you are working in a tight area.  Since it is not efficient to list every dimension for every decal there is a not-so-simple way of figuring out the dimensions using the full size image on the product page.

If you have Microsoft Excel then you may download and XML file from here that will tell you the size.  Right click on the full size image as instructed below and then put the dimensions in for that image.  Then you can put in the width or height you want and it will tell you the other size.

	Using your mouse, right click on the full size image of the decal you would like to order.  This will bring up a menu similar to the image on the left.  You will then select the Properties from the menu that pops up. Note - This only works on images that contain only one decal.  If the image shows a pair of decals then this will not work.  Please contact us for the proper sizing.  True Fire style decals will not work using this formula either.
	Now here are the dimensions for the decal in pixels.  Most of the images are 360 pixels wide and the second number will vary.  That is the height that we will be figuring for.  In this case the decal is 360x72.  72 pixels is the height for the decal. Note - This only works on images that contain only one decal.  If the image shows a pair of decals then this will not work.  Please contact us for the proper sizing.  True Fire style decals will not work using this formula either.
360=Pixel Width 72=Pixel Height 7=Width we want the decal Y=Height the decal will be	Time for some Algebra!  This sounds really confusing but if you follow the directions and replace each number with your numbers everything will work out. A 360x72 decal is being used as an example.  In this equation we will be figuring for a 7 inch decal (hence the 7 above the Y) and trying to solve for Y (which will be the height).  Using cross multiplying we will take the 7x72 which gives us 504.  Now we will divide that number (504) by 360 to give us the total for Y.  Y = 1.4.  This means that the decal will be 1.4 inches tall if 7 inches wide.  Here is the algebraic formula: Pixel Height (72)  X  Width in Inches you want (7)  =  Z (504) Then:  Z (504) / Pixel Width (360) = Y (1.4) Height in inches
?	Confused Yet?  If your image is 360 pixels wide you may use the chart below to get an approximate dimension for your decal.

Use the chart below to figure the approximate size of the decal.  Choose a size that is closest to the size of the image.

Finally, if you can not figure out the height using the above methods then you may use the contact form so we can figure it up for you.  Be sure to include the specific name of the decal (CODE) and the the height or width you are wanting.
